hey. hey hey. remember all those times i talked about making a game where John ends up being manipulated by the Devil during his time at the Yale Psychiatric Institute.

i'm currently working on it as i main project next to the second Gabriel dressup game. the plan is for it to be about 50k words at least with the art mostly constituting of traditionally drawn cgs (like my other projects i guess).
that project is mostly inspired by my own expriences at psych wards and by general ideas of trans/queer tragedy that would be more specific to us without being just. gay death, i suppose. something that could be repaired with love and time, but is still so broken it looks unfixeable for years.
it's simply the Devil showing John a mirror to his inner wishes and him not being able to stand the truth, breaking the mirror because it was shown to him in the worst possible way.
media shelf for this project
ideally, just like for Apricot Trees, i would like to build a media shelf for this project to remember what i've read, watched and played for this project to come to fruition. i have a vague idea of what i'd like to explore with this project, so hopefully this shelf will help me build a nice game.
i already have I Saw The TV Glow on the watchlist, so hopefully i can add more to the list soon.
